#myhappyplate Campaign

Electrolux Malaysia wanted to tackle the social issue of food wastage for their CSR initiative.

We decided to create an animation video to showcase how serious the issue has become in Malaysia as we waste 15,000 tonnes of food each day and up to 50% more during festive seasons.

The video received 248,000 views on Facebook.

To push for further mileage from the campaign, we encouraged the community to share their leftover recipes on Facebook and selected recipes will be included in Electrolux’s #myhappyplate Creative Daily Leftover Recipes book alongside dietitian Indra Balaratnam’s recipes.

We received over 180 recipe submissions from the campaign.
